Job summary

UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant for the 6 South unit. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help provide safe, compassionate patient care under RN supervision.

This is a Full-Time position with three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating day/night shifts and every other holiday plus two weekends per month. Completion of a CNA program is preferred; CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred.
• CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating).
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain clean, safe environment.
