The Opportunity:
At Hospice House, you will assist patients in a dual role as a Nursing Assistant and Information Associate. Your duties will include maintaining functions at the nurses station, answering phones, managing visitor access, responding to call lights, maintaining medical records, using EMR systems, scanning documents, and collaborating with staff to communicate patient needs effectively.
Shift: This position involves working two 10-hour shifts per week, from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday at Hospice House.
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing both direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by the Registered Nurse under their supervision. Responsibilities include basic patient care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The Nursing Assistant also conducts regular patient rounds and communicates effectively with the healthcare team to support patient safety and satisfaction.

Job Requirements:
Experience: Less than 1 year as a Certified Nurse Aide (MO), registered with the Missouri Division of Health and Human Services and the Family Care Safety Registry of the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.
