Job summary

The Waterford at Fitchburg, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to provide compassionate care in a warm, independent and assisted living setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, medications, meals, and activities while promoting resident dignity and independence. Competitive benefits reflect the town's commitment to quality care and team support.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
