Job summary

Juniper Communities in State College, PA is seeking a full-time evening care aide to join our team. You will provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, promote safety, and help residents stay engaged and independent.

This position offers shift differential for evenings, overnights and weekends, with DailyPay on-demand pay available. We value diversity, respect, and teamwork, and provide a supportive environment where associates grow and belong.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required).
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote safety and independence.
• Monitor and report residents' health and well-being, including vital signs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members to ensure quality care.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service and a positive living environment.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management.
• Check and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.
