Job summary

Summit Corners, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, Ohio, is seeking a Nursing Aid to provide compassionate daily living assistance in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting.

Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, assisting with medications, escorting residents, and supporting meal service, while upholding dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
