CarePoint Health Management Associates in Bayonne, NJ is seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor to oversee clinical supervision of patient care. This role involves ensuring quality patient care and managing nursing staff on the assigned shift.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a current New Jersey nursing license, and at least five years of clinical experience, including some supervisory experience. MAIN FUNCTIONS: The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: Exposure to communicable diseases, blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or combative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, x-rays and fluoroscopy, sharp instruments and needles, electricity.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Includes standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing wheelchairs, recliner chairs, beds, stretchers. Occasionally must stoop, reach above head, carry medium to light equipment.
REPORTS TO: Chief Nursing Officer.
CONTACTS: Administrators, Physicians, Department Heads, Hospital Staff, Patients, Families and Visitors.
SUPERVISES: All members of Nursing Staff on Assigned Shift.
