Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center is part of NYC Health + Hospitals, delivering patient‑centered nursing leadership and education. The role supports planning, directing and evaluating nursing services across units and home health settings.

The position emphasizes policy development, budget oversight, and quality assurance in collaboration with the nursing staff. The successful candidate will lead education programs, chairs staff meetings, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards,

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as an RN.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration or related field with 3 years of supervisory nursing experience.
• Or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years clinical experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of appointment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing service and education programs.
• Assist in developing policies, objectives and standards of nursing service and education.
• Assist in preparing budgets for personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Plan, organize and conduct nursing education programs and supervise nursing service on various shifts.
• Attend and chair regular staff meetings; prepare reports on staff and patient management.
