Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Master's degree in Nursing Administration.
• Minimum of four years of high-level responsible experience in nursing administration, three years of which shall have been in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24/7 responsibility of service to ensure provision of quality patient care.
• Oversees development and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols to ensure evidence-based practices per standards.
• Collaborates with chiefs of service to set goals and report on performance and interventions.
• Monitors staffing and compliance with nursing guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Assists in budget preparation for nursing and staffing planning.
