Job summary

Alpine Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced nurse administrator to lead nursing services, set policies, ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance. The role leads the Director of Nursing function within a skilled nursing facility in New York.

The candidate will oversee staff, infection control, CNA certification and QA activities, working with the management team to sustain safety, quality and regulatory standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• NYS RN license and CPR certification are required.
• Minimum two years in a skilled nursing facility.
• Minimum two years in nursing administration or equivalent management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Communicate policies to staff and monitor compliance.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss resident status and census.
• Oversee rounds, staffing, cleanliness and service delivery.
• Oversee CNA certification program and student supervision.
• Review infection control surveillance and enforce actions.
• Participate in QA Committee and inspection readiness.
