Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations in a skilled nursing setting in New York. The role focuses on developing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing nursing staff and CNA training.

The candidate must hold a NYS RN license and CPR certification. Two years of SNF nursing experience and two years in nursing administration or management are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Maintain re-licensure requirements per regulations.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures.
• Communicates policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status and staffing.
• Performs rounds to ensure delivery of services, coverage, cleanliness.
• Oversees CNA certification program and supervision of students.
• Reviews 24-hour reports to ensure timely responses to changes in condition.
• Reviews nursing schedules to meet resident needs.
• Participates in recruitment of nursing personnel.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
• Manages infection control program and reports to leadership and agencies.
• Participates in QA Committee and inspection readiness.
• Supports Plan of Correction during surveys and follow-ups.
