NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking an Associate Director of Nursing for Gotham Health in Queens, NY. The role partners with nursing, administrative, and medical leadership to implement strategic plans across community health sites, with a focus on patient outcomes and care quality.

The position requires a master’s in nursing administration (or equivalent) and nursing leadership experience, offering a full-time day shift and a competitive salary.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Nursing Administration or related discipline required.
• Three years of nursing experience with two years in admin/supervisory capacity or four years with three years supervisory capacity.
• Valid New York State license and current RN registration.
• BLS certification may be required depending on assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in the primary care setting.
• Participate in quality assurance programs for patient care and staff performance.
• Collaborate with Nursing Education for staff orientation and ongoing training.
• Work with Infection Control to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify and analyze work-related improvement opportunities.
• Address concerns entered into the VOICE system and collaborate with Risk Management.
• Communicate job responsibilities, task objectives, and performance expectations clearly.
• Participate in on-site regulatory surveys and develop Corrective Action Plans as needed.
• Oversee the maintenance of clinical equipment and Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Monitor care gap metrics at the site level.
