Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing is seeking an adjunct faculty member to support the Undergraduate Nursing Program. The role involves didactic and/or clinical teaching, collaboration with course faculty, and offering clinical expertise to help students meet program outcomes.

The candidate should be a clinically competent nursing professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to student success in classroom and clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with didactic instruction in undergraduate nursing courses as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation in a specified clinical area and/or the simulation laboratory.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competency using established course and program criteria.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to faculty regarding student performance, progression, and learning achievements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned course content and learning activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the academic mission of TTUHSC School of Nursing.
