Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Undergraduate Nursing program. This non-tenure track position provides didactic and/or clinical teaching support and collaborates with course faculty to facilitate student learning and evaluate performance.

The ideal candidate is a clinically competent nursing professional with strong communication skills, dedicated to student success in classroom and clinical settings, and able to contribute

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with didactic instruction in undergraduate nursing courses as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation in a specified clinical area and/or the simulation laboratory.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competency using established course criteria.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to faculty regarding student performance and learning progress.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners.
• Perform other duties to support the academic mission of the School of Nursing.
