Job summary

Orbis Education seeks an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the University of St. Thomas ABSN program in The Woodlands, TX. The role focuses on clinical education, guiding students in professionalism, practice, and evidence‑based care within the clinical setting.

You will collaborate with faculty and the healthcare partner, participate in orientation and meetings, and help advance student learning and competency in nursing.

Qualifications

• Master's in nursing is required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing practice.
• Teaching experience not required, but two years teaching is preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide guidance related to professionalism, practice, and research.
• Organize learning activities to meet course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with faculty and healthcare partner staff.
• Attend required orientation, training and faculty meetings.

Education

Master's degree in Nursing
