Orbis Education seeks Adjunct Clinical Instructors for the ABSN program in Downtown Houston. You will supervise clinical education for nursing students, contributing to skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking across clinical areas in the Houston area.

The role reports to the Director, Nursing Services of the ABSN program. Ideal candidates hold a Master's in Nursing, have two years of clinical practice, and possess a Texas RN license; teaching experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of successful clinical nursing practice.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the clinical setting.

We are seeking highly energetic Adjunct Clinical Instructors for an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Downtown Houston area. As an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, the primary responsibility is the clinical education of students in the University of St. Thomas ABSN program. Clinical Instructors are assigned teaching responsibilities in a clinical area in the San Antonio area and are expected to contribute to the education of the students including skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking. Adjunct Instructors are accountable to the Director, Nursing Services of the ABSN program. Help support the next generation of nurses in your community!

What You Will Have:

• Master's degree in nursing required
• Practice: minimum of two years of successful clinical nursing practice
• Teaching experience: none required; prefer a minimum two years of teaching experience Education and Certifications
• Current unencumbered RN license in Texas or other compact state
• Able to work 12 hour shifts in a clinical setting if required
