Job summary

Orbis Education seeks highly energetic Adjunct Clinical Instructors for an Accelerated BSN program in the San Antonio area. As an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, you will supervise clinical education for students in the University of Incarnate Word ABSN program, contributing to skill development, standards of practice, and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of successful clinical nursing practice.
• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Texas or other compact state.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts in a clinical setting if required.
• Preferred: Two years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide guidance for students in professionalism, practice, and research.
• Select and organize learning activities to achieve course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with faculty and healthcare partner staff.
• Attend all required orientation, training and faculty meetings.
