Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for day and night shifts. Join a 100-bed residential program offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation, with a collaborative clinical team and modern facilities.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication management, documentation and patient education, within a compassionate recovery-focused environment. In-state licensure required; diverse benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year diploma program in nursing.
• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in-state; multi-state licensure acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client during admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs; dispense medication and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.

What You'll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
