Job summary

Sterling Healthcare Management, LLC in Indiana is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and lead the nursing team on your shift.

You will assess residents, administer medications, monitor changes, document in the EHR, and participate in care planning and quality improvement activities. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive environment that values your expertise.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and skilled procedures.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs on your shift.
• Communicate with residents, families, and attending physicians.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in care planning, MDS, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards.
