Job summary

Powell Gardens, Inc. seeks a Nursery Operations Coordinator to oversee customer service interactions, inventory management, and product placement in the nursery and perennial areas. You will coordinate tree installations, manage displays, and support the Wholesale and Nursery Operations Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years retail experience, familiarity with POS and inventory systems, and strong organizational skills. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of retail or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with nursery or ornamental horticulture.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Familiarity with Point of Sale and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in pricing, tagging, and signage.
• Ability to adopt new technologies and follow processes.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with point-of-sale transactions and inquiries.
• Coordinate and dispatch tree installations with Nursery, Perennials, and third-party teams.
• Ensure adherence to customer service processes and upsell opportunities.
• Guide customers through installation processes and coordinate installs/deliveries.
