Apploi is seeking a Unit Manager Nurse (LPN or RN) in Lincoln, NE to lead nursing staff in a Short Term Rehabilitation unit. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires full-time salaried status with M-F 8:00am–4:30pm shifts and an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include admission evaluation, discharge documentation, and ensuring the highest level of resident care while reducing organizational risk.

• Experience working with older adults in a resident-centered care role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, PIPs and other committees as required.
• Provide a safe working environment for staff and report incidents.
• Participate in daily morning meetings.
• Provide education and coaching to nursing staff to improve resident outcomes.
• Provide clinical backup to floors as needed.
• Take weekend on-call according to rotation (if applicable).
• Complete chart audits for Medicaid patients monthly.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
