Job summary

IEP Corp is seeking an RN Nurse Unit Manager in New Jersey to oversee the daily clinical operations of the unit and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable regulations. • Current NJ RN license is required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities are required.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on the unit.
• Monitor resident care to ensure it meets established standards and individual care plans.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and infection control standards.
• Participate in care plan development, quality assurance initiatives, and resident admissions/discharges.
• Address resident and family concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.
