Springfield Hospital, Inc. in Vermont seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for the Inpatient Care Unit. The role ensures accountability and leadership for patient care delivery aligned with nursing division plans and the hospital mission.

The incumbent will supervise staff, foster collaboration across disciplines, promote Patient and Family Centered Care, and ensure regulatory standards are met while acting as an administrator extender for the organization.

Qualifications

• ADN or nursing certificate from an accredited program required.
• RN license in good standing (VT or compact) required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience; 1 year in nursing management.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence and quality in patient care as per division plans and hospital mission.
• Serve as supervisor, clinical resource, and administrator extension to uphold priorities and healthy work environments.
• Establish collaborative relationships with patient care disciplines and leadership partners.
• Promote professional behaviors and Patient and Family Centered Care while supporting organizational imperatives.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to perform under stress.
• Meet CMS and regulatory standards and act as Springfield Hospital ambassador.
