SGMC Health is recruiting a Nurse Manager to oversee one or more nursing units at the Berrien Campus. The role ensures delivery of high-quality patient care using the nursing process across all age groups and drives unit-based quality improvement initiatives.

Primary responsibilities include budget management, staff leadership and development, and coordination with the broader healthcare team to meet organizational goals and standards.

Qualifications

• > Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
• > Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related area strongly preferred.
• > Current CPR certification.
• > Certification in appropriate specialty preferred.
• > Four (4) years experience in nursing or paramedicine, including leadership/management.
• > Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• > Ability to lead and develop others and work as a team.
• > Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving.
• > Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
• > Proficient with clinical and office equipment.

Responsabilités

• > Has twenty-four hour accountability for the overall operation of one or more nursing units.
• > Ensures delivery of quality patient care through nursing process for all ages.
• > Coordinates unit-based quality assessment and improvement.
• > Manages unit(s) within established budgetary parameters.
• > Serves as primary liaison between unit(s) and other healthcare team members.
• > Upholds SGMC Health’s mission, vision, values, and standards.
