Job summary

The Lodge at Rocky Mount is seeking a qualified Unit Manager to lead and coordinate resident care on the assigned unit. You will supervise direct care staff, participate in rounds with physicians, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate to support patient well-being.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and have demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer-service skills in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Must have and maintain CPR certification.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical, customer service, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and evaluate resident care and unit operations on assigned unit.
• Supervise direct care staff and provide assistance as necessary.
• Observe and assess residents.
• Ensure all appropriate documentation is made related to patients/residents and informed stakeholders.
• Inform Director of Nursing daily on status of patients/residents.
• Make rounds with physicians, review orders, lab reports and contact pharmacy as needed.
• Address patient/resident concerns.
• Investigate, report and follow through with any reported situation related to the patient/resident.
• Review patient/resident plans of care to ensure no alterations and evaluate status at shift start/end.
• Promote a culture of Service Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:
