Job summary

The role requires a BSN and Ohio RN licensure, with a preference for a Master's degree and management experience. Certification in nursing administration or related field should be achieved within 18 months of employment.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensed in Ohio.
• Minimum of two years of management experience.
• Three years of RN experience in relevant care setting.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; or must obtain within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations 24/7.
• Plan and develop short, mid and long-term goals for unit operations.
• Coach, supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Develop and manage unit budget and cost-saving initiatives.
• Foster collaboration with other care departments and support services.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and organizational processes.
