Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or BS)
• Two years' nursing experience required
• RN licensure in North Carolina
• BLS certification required
• Nationally recognized nursing specialty certification within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager to meet short and long-term goals through standards of performance and staff development.
• Collaborate with staff and other departments; communicate information effectively.
• Coordinate nursing care with other healthcare disciplines across the continuum of care; ensure quality and appropriate care.
• Promote a safety culture for patients, staff, and facility; maintain patient rights and privacy.
• Support shared governance and professional development, including education and credentialing.
