Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice as required by state.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety and ethical practice.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
• Provides age-appropriate care across patient populations.
