Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Associates degree in a Business, Nursing, Health Care, from an accredited Nursing program or directly related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience as a charge nurse, clinical coordinator, acute care hospital, clinical department assistant manager, or a related-nursing field.
• Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
• Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Oversees all staff in the facility through partnerships with other organizations and acts as on-site admin designee for off-shifts and weekends.
• Coordinates staffing for all shifts to maintain appropriate staffing and skill levels; manages and resolves HR, safety, and risk management issues.
• Facilitates patient flow and throughput with internal and external continuum stakeholders; rounds on patient units to identify placement needs and capacity.
• Supervises staff; mentors and coaches to drive performance; supports performance management guidelines and educational opportunities.
• Manages care delivery operations in a 24/7 environment; coordinates resources, budgeting, and cross-functional activities to meet targets and regulatory standards.
