Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead clinical and operational activities on the assigned shift. The ANM reports to the unit director/manager and uses the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Required qualifications include BSN and Alaska RN license with BLS. Preferred experience includes acute care, charge nurse roles, leadership and Shared Governance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
• Alaska RN license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and operational activities on assigned shift.
• Provide managerial presence and support to unit staff.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
