Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee clinical and operational activities on the assigned shift. The ANM will apply the nursing process to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to standards and policies.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching and collaboration with caregivers, and input to improve performance and quality of care. Prior charge nurse or leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Alaska RN license required on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association on hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and operational activities for the assigned shift using the nursing process.
• Provide managerial presence and oversight across all shifts.
• Coach, mentor and collaborate with caregivers to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure regulatory compliance.
