Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the team in County Correctional. You will collaborate with nurse managers to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care activities, ensuring high quality and cost-effective delivery.

The role supports addiction medicine and behavioral health unit operations and upholds MetroHealth's mission and standards. Ideal candidates hold a BSN, Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least three years of clinical experience,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates all unit activities impacting patient care delivery.
• Holds self and staff accountable for identification, evaluation, documentation, and appropriate intervention of patients' needs to ensure quality and cost-effective patient care.
• Works with the nurse manager and manager of behavioral health to support addiction medicine and behavioral health unit operations, including practice and financial management.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
