Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Registered Nurse for our county correctional unit. You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate all unit activities affecting patient care delivery, and ensure quality and cost-effective care in collaboration with the nurse manager and behavioral health leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, Ohio RN licensure, and at least 3 years of experience, with strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills, and BLS certification or will obtain within 90

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN degree.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.
