Job summary

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation facility delivering specialized care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and other conditions. The Nurse Tech role supports basic patient care, vital signs, and mobility, under nursing supervision, in a 60-bed acute rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum six months of relative experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is a state-of-the-art, 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

We are CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke, Spinal Cord, Amputation, and Brain Injury Specialty Programs.
