Job summary

Corewell Health’s 4H Bariatric Surgical unit in Grand Rapids is seeking a Nursing Technician to support nursing staff in patient care. You will assist with vitals, daily living activities, and basic wound care while communicating with the health care team and ensuring timely documentation.

The role offers night shifts, a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule, and a collaborative, supportive work environment focused on patient experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Work Equivalent is required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, monitor patient condition and report changes to RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic wound care.
• Support patient and family needs and communicate observations to the health care team.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with department guidelines.

Education
