Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, part of Corewell Health, is seeking a Nurse Tech to support the Med Surg Care Unit 9C. The role involves direct patient care, vitals monitoring, and assisting with daily activities.

You will take vitals, assist with wound care, monitor blood sugars, and ensure patient safety under RN oversight. Shift is night, 24 hours weekly (1900-0730) with pre-scheduled weekday orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor basic patient status.
• Check blood sugars and assist with daily living activities (baths, ambulation).
• Provide wound care and assist with catheterization.
• Act as safety attendant and communicate observations to the RN or Provider.
