Corewell Health’s 4H Surgical Specialties Unit in Grand Rapids seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for bariatric, general, urologic, and colorectal surgery patients. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while upholding ANA standards and state requirements.

This full-time role on a night shift requires MI RN licensure, an associates degree with a BSN within five years, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Upholds the standards of professional performance described by the ANA, including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and research.
