Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join our team as a Nurse Tech. After competency evaluation, the Nurse Tech may perform all duties of a nursing assistant and other skills learned in a nursing education program under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in the first semester.
• Must pass and complete the pre-employment assessment.
• Must demonstrate each task before performing independently; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
