Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in Oklahoma City. Under the direction of an RN or LPN, you will assist in individualized patient care, perform clinical and non-clinical tasks, and collaborate with the care team to achieve patient wellness goals.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC or Mercy program enrollment, and BLS within one month of hire. Training is provided; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• PCA competencies completion within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; full shift standing/walking ability.
