Job summary

Mercy is seeking a nurse technician to support nursing staff in patient care. Under supervision, you’ll assist with individualized care, perform designated procedures, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and timely communication to support patient wellness.

You’ll work closely with RNs and LPNs, participate in clinical tasks, and contribute to a caring care plan for patients while upholding Mercy’s standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and enrollment in an approved nursing program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• Preferred EMT, Paramedic, CNA, CPCT, EMT, or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN and work as part of a team to achieve patient wellness.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and nonclinical tasks essential to providing care.
• Contribute to a safe and compassionate patient environment by supporting group goals.
