Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with individualized patient care under supervision of RN/LPN. The role involves performing designated clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient care, while working as part of a collaborative team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be enrolled in a healthcare program or be a current Mercy coworker. Training and certification requirements include BLS within one month of hire and completion of PCT

Qualifications

• Cares for patients under RN/LPN supervision, supports team
• Requires BLS certification within 1 month of hire
• Must complete PCT competencies within 3 months of hire
• Minimum physical requirements: lift 50 pounds, stand/walk long shifts
