Job summary

Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids is seeking a Nurse Technician for the Intensive Medical Rehab Unit (IMRU) on day shift (7:00am–7:30pm). This non-licensed role reports to the RN and assists with direct patient care and unit activities to support patient progress within Mary Free Bed's care model.

Starting wage is $18 per hour with experience-based consideration and potential shift differentials. No licensure required, but CNA preferred; current BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Course for HealthCare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and services under the RN's direction per department policies.
• Collect vital signs, assist with hygiene, and document care.
• Transport patients safely to diagnostic testing and therapy sessions.
