Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience as a nurse tech required.
• 1 year of experience can substitute for nursing assistant certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interventions related to the patient plan of care.
• Reports patient condition changes to the nurse.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort per unit standards.
• Prepares rooms and equipment for admissions and discharge.
• Performs clerical duties in the EMR and schedules physician appointments.
• Maintains stock levels of clerical supplies and ensures proper labeling.
