Job summary

Boone Health in Columbia, MO seeks a Patient Care Technician to assist nurses and deliver safe patient care across units.

You will collect vital signs, assist with ADL, monitor I&O, and document care while promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. A CNA certification is preferred; multiple shifts available with weekend options.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in nursing education or CNA certification in good standing.
• Experience assisting nurses and direct patient care preferred.
• Able to perform ADL and vital signs with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Administers ADL assistance, takes vitals, and performs I&O collection.
• Documents patient care activities and reports status changes.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available as needed.
• Supports safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
