Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Current listing on the Nurse Aide registry in North Carolina required.
• Successful completion and ability to maintain BCLS.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical departments of the hospital.
• Must be flexible and able to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care to acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Perform general nurse assistant duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties on a nursing unit.
