Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of nursing and RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BCLS current; English reading and communication proficiency required.
• Six months to one year's RN experience preferred; basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect care in the acute care setting.
• Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs.
• Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers about changes in patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs general nursing duties in all departments with appropriate supervision.
