Job summary

River Oaks Skilled Nursing and Therapy seeks a Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

You will manage resident nursing care, delegate tasks, monitor changes in condition, and supervise aides to maintain safety and wellness. Oklahoma RN or LPN license and CPR/First Aid are required, with at least 1 year in SNF/LTC preferred.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN or LPN license required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• 1+ year experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
