Job summary

English Village Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Oklahoma seeks a Charge Nurse to lead the night shift and ensure top-quality resident care. You will supervise nurses, delegate tasks, and respond to changes in patient conditions with a focus on safety and wellness.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
