Job summary

Capitol Hill Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) for a Monday-Friday 3p-11p shift. This role leads the nursing team, oversees patient care, and ensures safety and quality in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Oklahoma RN or LPN license, current CPR and First Aid, and at least 1 year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• 1+ year of experience in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
