Qualifications

• Associate Degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Valid license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio is required.
• Specialty certification is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in the appropriate nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work of up to five or more employees for an assigned shift.
• Plans and assigns work to ensure maximum production and efficiency.
• Provides for and promotes inter- and intradepartmental communication.
• Practices positive responses to job demands and changes through organizational and time management to enhance patient care and FMC mission.
• Performs performance QA.
• Participates in interviewing new employee candidates.
• Enforces all FMC policies & procedures.
• Informs Manager/Assistant Manager of any concerns/problems.
• Counsels employee issues.
