Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Team Leader IV to supervise up to five or more employees on an assigned shift and to plan and assign work for maximum efficiency in patient care and FMC’s mission.

The role requires an Associate Degree in nursing, Ohio nursing license, and preferred Bachelor’s degree with specialty certification. You will participate in interviews, enforce policies, and guide staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and active Ohio RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Eligibility to practice nursing in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Supervises work of up to five or more employees on an assigned shift.

Plans and assigns work to ensure maximum production and efficiency.Provides for and promotes inter and intradepartmental communication.Practices positive responses to job demands, changes, through organizational and time management to enhance positive outcomes in patient care and the Centers mission.Performs performance QA.Participates in interviewing new employee candidates.Enforces all FMC policies & procedures.Informs Manager/Assistant Manager of any concerns/problems.Counsels employee issues.Job Qualifications:Associate Degree in nursing required.Bachelors Degree preferred.Valid license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.Specialty certification preferred.2 years of experience in the appropriate nursing specialty.Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
